Marrakech: When To Go

Peak Season: June to September The summer months are horridly hot (temperatures average in the 100s), but it’s tourist high season nonetheless. The city overflows with holidaying Europeans and budget backpackers. Room rates are at their highest, and bargaining in the souks is cutthroat.

Off Season: October to February Colder daytime temperatures that can dip into the 60s in the dead of winter scare sun-seeking European tourists off. Room bargains are common.

Sweet Spot: March to May Springtime is the most pleasant period to visit Marrakech, with warm days (temperatures in the upper 70s), temperate nights, and fewer tourists than during the summer. Don't expect hotel bargains, however, as it's still a popular time to visit.
